  Sean and his team were fantastic! They transformed our garage from a cobweb cluttered dungeon into a multi-use storage facility and home office in a matter of weeks. Sean went the extra mile to make sure every detail was attended to and was always transparent with regard to process and communication... something that isn't commonplace in the construction trade. Our project would not have been the same without Sean and his team at Major D Clutter. A+.

  I used Shawn and Major D Clutter to install new storage cabinets and epoxy my garage floor. On our initial meeting he was cordial and punctual. He was always available to discuss the project when it was in progress, until I started asking questions about a refund we agreed upon (more about that later). The time came to do our garage flooring and it was raining that day. Later I would find out from one of his installers that rainy, humid conditions are the worse time you can do this epoxy work as the top coat dries quickly. While my garage looks pretty good, the top coat is very heavy in sections where you can see where the rollers stopped. Even Shawn said, "it should look better than this". He offered to have his crew come back and try to fix the issue, which I agreed to, but it basically looks the same. The only true way to make the surface look perfectly even would to have to started from scratch. Regardless, I'm okay with it, but it's not the quality I expected and wanted for paying top dollar. But hey, it's a garage, right? When my cabinets were delivered and installed, I later examined them and found water damage on all of the doors, and also noticed that one of the cabinets wasn't securely attached to the wall. When I asked about the water damage, Shawn said, "yeah, it's possible they were in the rain for a time". He agreed to replace the doors and was true to his word. His crew also secured the loose cabinet. Why you would carry particle board-based cabinets in the rain is beyond me. Regardless it got fixed and I'm happy with the cabinets. When Shawn came back to my place to re-examine the floor again he again said, "it should look better than this." I was very clear that maybe my expectations were too high, and if this is what they all look like, then fine. He also said he could have his crew back a third time, but I was done with trying to fix it. We agreed instead to take a $200 refund of the $3,400 I spent with him to settle the matter. He never provided the payment he promised to, and won't return calls or emails at this point. So I guess I'll never get the refund I was expecting. The low review is reflective of a.) Shawn's not living up to our agreement, and b.) the quality of work. ---- Update 5/18/15 The trim pieces on our cabinet doors are now falling off, and I'm forced to reglue them. ---- Update 9/2/15 Wall mounted cabinets now separating from walls. After I asked for $200 back the agreed upon initially they refused to contact me further after several emails and calls.
